Matatula Elementary School Literacy Week “Hidden Treasurers of a Book”

Matatula Elementary School closes its school year of academic events with a Literacy Week, entitled “Hidden Treasures of a Book.” The Literacy Week program featured prestigious Guest Readers and Career Presenters from various government departments and agencies. It is with great hope that as students found treasures in shared books read this week, they will simply be drawn to find more hidden treasures among any book they might come across.

The family of Matatula Elementary School sincerely acknowledges the following Guest Readers and Career Presenters for supporting the Literacy Week: First Lady Cynthia Moliga, Congresswoman Aumua Amata, Director Dr. Matagi-Tofiga, Fagaitua High School National Honor Society, Miss Pacific Islands, Miss SOFIAS, Will Thompson, Justin Maga & Sulita Roe, Christine Moetala, J-Smooth, Department of Public Safety, Fire Department, Army Reserve, Senator Tuaolo Fruean and Mrs. Fruean, Senator Vaouli Taua’a and Mrs. Vaouli, Representative Vaiau & Mrs. Vaiau, Representative Mauga & Mrs. Mauga, Mrs. Shirley Taua’a, Mrs. Merina Te’o, Mrs. Ioana Leatigaga, Mrs. Vagai Fa’alevao, Sisters of LDS & Mrs. Ana Fa’amanatu.
