COMMUNITY OFFICE CONTINUES A’OGA SAMOA I AFIOAGA (ASIA)

. It's main purpose is as follow: 1) To use the Samoan language as a medium of instruction; 2) To develop and teach language and language skills, using CCCAS model and scripture stories to further develop language skills, such as decoding, vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, and comprehension; 3). To help students improve in their test scores and in three core subjects: Reading, Writing, and Math; 4) To teach basic math students using visuals and manipulative as much as possible; and 5) Maintain learning to be fun so that the interest remains and the student is eager to learn more. Six educational centers involved in ASIA 2018 included: Aua, Fagatogo, Nuuuli, Petesa-tai, Faleniu, and Pavaiai. The project period started from June 25 - July 27, 2018. A total of 805 students participated.
